Thoughtful Project Guidance from Concept to Completion
Tended Design & Development was built on a simple idea: good projects happen when creative thinking and practical execution work together.
We help homeowners, property owners, and small developers navigate the often overwhelming process of turning ideas into reality. Whether you’re exploring an ADU, planning a remodel, evaluating a property, or trying to understand what is actually possible, we provide guidance, organization, and support through every stage of the process.
Our backgrounds are different, which is exactly what makes our partnership work.
Denise brings years of experience in residential design-build, client communication, project coordination, and helping people translate ideas into actionable plans. She has a knack for seeing connections, anticipating challenges, asking the right questions, and helping clients feel informed and supported throughout the process. Her work is rooted in how a space functions, how it feels, and how it supports the people who live there.
Rigoberto Guzman brings more than a decade of experience in housing development, construction management, permitting, and project delivery. His work spans everything from feasibility analysis and due diligence to construction coordination and agency relationships throughout San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties. He brings organization, technical understanding, and a steady ability to help clients navigate complex processes with clarity.
Together, we combine creative problem-solving with practical project expertise.
Two perspectives. Two skill sets. One shared goal: helping clients make informed decisions and move their projects forward with confidence.
Every project is different. Every property has its own opportunities and constraints. Our role is not to force solutions, but to help uncover the path that makes the most sense for your goals, your budget, and your vision.
